First Nations & cognitive impairment: Intervention economics

Is it fair to incarcerate a cognitively impaired person - when the court, prosecution and even defence are unaware of that impairment? First Nations youth who present with cognitive impairment are a particularly vulnerable sector of our community. They are also sadly one of the most overrepresented groups of people in the corrective system. Join us for an enlightening presentation by two expert presenters, and improve your client management skills and advocacy for this vulnerable sector of the community. Members are invited to enjoy complimentary registration.
