LawLink: MinterEllison

QLS invites First Nations law students to attend our upcoming LawLink session kindly hosted by MinterEllison. Meet with representatives from this international law firm and hear an overview of their work and their clients. Take advantage of the networking session and make connections for your legal career. LawLink is an ongoing Indigenous student liaison program organised by the Queensland Law Society. It is an opportunity for First Nations law students to gain a better understanding of the practice of law and network with members of the profession, judiciary and other law students. About LawLink In 2004, the QLS Equity & Diversity Committee started the LawLink program as an initiative to build relationships between First Nations law students and the legal profession by giving opportunities to network and gain a better understanding of the practice of law. . In 2017, QLS established the Reconciliation and First Nations Advance Committee to advocate for and raise awareness for reconciliation and the advancement of the legal interests and communities of First Nations peoples. The two committees look forward to collaborating on LawLink and other initiatives with First Nations law students and legal practitioners.
