Mental health first aid course for the legal profession

It’s an unfortunate fact that legal practitioners are statistically more likely to suffer from mental health concerns. Becoming an accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider) gives you the skills and knowledge to recognise and assist a co-worker with a mental health problem. This blended accreditation course has been purpose built to address the unique needs of the legal profession. In order to become an accredited MHFAider, you must: 1. Complete an online eLearning module (approximately 6-8 hours); 2. Attend the half day course (presented by Belinda Winter, Partner at Cooper Grace Ward); and 3. Complete the online accreditation assessment (15 multiple choice questions) Participants who successfully complete all three steps receive a digital PDF Certificate of Accreditation by MHFA Australia.
