Annual General Meeting

Members are welcome to attend the Society’s 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM will officially confirm the 2020-21 annual report and financials. The 2021 notice of AGM and proxy form can be found at

How to register:
  1. Login using your individual QLS account details (please do not register under an organisation account)
    • If you are a member, hold a practising certificate or have previously attended a QLS event you will have a pre-existing account. Contact the Events team for assistance.
    • If you do not have an account you can create one by clicking the green "logon" button at the top right of the screen.
  2. Click "Register myself"
  3. Choose your registration type
  4. Answer any required questions
  5. Click Proceed to checkout to complete your registration

Non-members are able to register to attend, however will not be able to participate or vote.

Registration will close on Monday 6 December.

COVID-19 information
  • Do not register to attend if in the 14 days prior to the event, you will have been overseas or to a COVID-19 hotspot.
  • Stay home if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 such as cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
  • Stay home if in the 14 days prior to the event you have been in a hotspot, or been in contact with a confirmed case or someone who has been to a hotspot.
  • Measures will be in place to allow for physical distancing of 1.5m from others, maintaining physical distancing during the event is the individual’s responsibility. A mask should be worn where physical distancing is not possible.
  • Mask wearing may be required in accordance with the current government directions at the time of the event.

    Privacy: Queensland Law Society (QLS) respects your privacy and is committed to the Information Privacy Principles contained in the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) and the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). QLS collects personal information about you to provide services to you, to improve the quality of those services, and to provide you with information about other services we offer.     If you do not provide personal information, QLS may not be able to process your registration or provide services to you.

    At any event held by QLS, your image may be photographed or filmed at any time throughout the event. We may use, publish or reproduce your image or recording of you in any form of published communication material to promote QLS’s services and to report on its events through its publications and resource material such as our Annual Report, Proctor, Twitter and Facebook pages. Your consent to the use of your image in full or part for any QLS related purpose is taken to be given by attending this event. QLS takes reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is not exposed to misuse, loss or unauthorised access.
    QLS may also use third parties to administer and deliver services and communications to attendees by email or mail. Some third party suppliers or their products and services are located overseas. Business details and personal information you choose to provide on this registration may be transferred to an overseas recipient and stored overseas to administer such services and communications to you. By completing this registration, you agree to this transfer and Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to this disclosure.

    In completing this form and providing details of other individuals, you certify that you have obtained the consent of those individuals to supply that information and that they consent to the use of their information as set out in this privacy notice.
